how do you think IOT can be used to solve real world problems and what is the benefit of having the skill with regards to the rise in tech

With a unique interest in cyber security, I tend to believe that the meeting point or integration of IoT and Cyber security would be a great breakthrough for both fields, a lot has not been exploited yet, but I believe IoT can come in handy in solving real world problems.
Imagine a world where young people learn valuable skills like using an ESP32 as a router to connect to a wifi network and act as an access point do deploy payloads for back door access to systems, mobile phones and applications, crazy right. We getting there tho'.
